August 12, 2019: Verizon has started rolling out an update for Moto G7 Power. The update, dubbed as PDO29.114-134, brings stability improvements, audio quality enhancement for BT and with 3rd party app, Message+ audio support, and June 2019 security patch.

August 02, 2019: Motorola has published the release notes for an upcoming security update. According to the changelog, the OTA will only update the device’s security patch to August 1, 2019. General bug fixes should be part of the bundle.

June 04, 2019: Motorola has published the release notes for May 2019 security patch for the Moto G7 Power in the U.S. and the UK. The update, as expected, also brings bug fixes and improves the stability of your phone.

Moto G7 Power May updates

May 10, 2019: Verizon is outing its first update to the Motorola Moto G7 Power as version PDO29.114-64-4. As per the brief changelog, the update is here to improve voice call audio and perhaps fix any other bugs.

Of course, expect improved system stability and performance after this update, so be sure to grab it once the OTA download notification shows up.

Moto G7 Power Android Q update

Motorola G series usually receives one major OS upgrade. With the Moto G7 Power running Android Pie out of the box, its guaranteed an update to Android Q.

As for when it will arrive, the wait will probably take you to Q1 2020. We will update this post when we get official details from Moto.
