Not too long ago Google released the Play Store version 5.3.6 with Google Now styled search bar and a few new cool animations for the folks running Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Now today, Play Store is graduating to version 5.4.10. Kirill Grouchnikov over at Google+ posted pictures of the new update that brings immersive hero images to the Play store. Which means the featured images on listings will now expand to the edge of the screen, and the status bar will go completely transparent. However, this is only for the devices running on Lollipop.
While immersive hero images is the only thing we could spot so far on the latest update, we believe there will be more inside the code as the jump in version number from 5.3.6 to 5.4 is pretty significant.
The update is gradually rolling out, but you can grab the APK file from link to get the new Play Store version installed on your phone/tablet right now.
