OnePlus started release of a new update for its OnePlus 3 users yesterday, the software version moving up to reach OxygenOS 3.2.6. Here’s the full changelog of the update.

  • Optimized voice call quality of some IM applications.
  • Improved adaptive brightness performance
  • Improved camera quality
    • Fixed occasional green/yellow issue
    • Optimized white balance
    • Improved 1080p video recording
  • Addressed some bluetooth connection problems for vehicles
  • Allows third party application to modify ringtone
  • Optimized battery consumption when scrolling
  • Optimized touch accuracy when playing games
  • Added DozeMode switch in Developer options
  • Added PocketMode switch in Display settings

If you are on community build of OnePlus 3, like 3.5.2, or 3.5.1, then you need to roll back to stable build first, as the 3.2.6 is also a stable build.

We’d suggest you go back to OxygenOS 3.2.4 first, and then download the 3.2.6 OTA (or Full ROM zip if that doesn’t work), to install the latest update.

Here are your download links.

OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.6 Download

  • OTA → OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_013-015_patch_1609141252_c38077177cfc4e74.zip
  • Full ROM ZIP → OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_015_all_1609141252_c38077177cfc4e74.zip

To install OTA, make sure your current version is OxygenOS 3.2.4, otherwise OTA won’t work. Reboot into recovery mode to access default recovery (not TWRP), and use its install menu to install the update. Be sure to save the update to device first.

To install Full ROM, download and transfer the zip to your OnePlus 3. Now, this may work on builds prior to OxygenOS 3.2.4 too, but 3.2.4 is more recommended than any other build. Use the default stock recovery to install.
