March 28, 2019: A new update is available for the ZenFone 5 Lite that installs the latest Android security patch available for the device alongside improvements to audio performance and updated APN.

The update is arriving as version 14.0400.1903.065 and since its rolling out over the air, it will take some time before all units receive the download notification. You can also grab the ROM and install manually using the download link in the table below.

January 26, 2019: Owners of the ZenFone 5 Lite (ZC600KL) are receiving a new update that installs software version 14.0400.1901.062 to the device. Although not clear on which month it represents, the update installs a new Android security patch, fixes bugs and performs system optimization for improved stability.

The update is available over the air, so don’t worry if you haven’t received the download notification by now, especially since it just started showing up today.

ZenFone 5 Lite Pie update

  • Eligible for Android 9 Pie update
  • The update may arrive in Q1 or Q2 2019

Asus ZenFone 5 Lite, also known as Asus ZenFone 5Q in the U.S., comes preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo. The device will receive at least one major OA upgrade and that’s Android 9 Pie. Although Asus hasn’t said when this update will be released, we think it may begin rolling out somewhere in Q1 or Q2 2019.

We’ll update this post in case Asus makes an official statement regarding the ZenFone 5 Lite Pie update.
