In Arc Raiders, Magnets are an uncommon crafting material used for a wide range of items including grenades, weapon parts, and augments. They’re required for many Workshop recipes and tool crafting, but are also relatively scarce in random scavenging — often forcing players to rely heavily on purchases from Celeste or recycling other items for them.

List of items that recycle into magnets
- Exodus Modules - 2x Magnet, 1x Mechanical Components
- Industrial Magnet - 2x Magnet, 4x Metal Parts
- Microscope - 3x Magnet, 1x Advanced Mechanical Components
- Ripped Safety Vest - 1x Magnet, 1x Durable Cloth
- Ruined Tactical Vest - 1x Magnet, 5x Fabric
- Rusted Tools — often found in industrial/Mechanical zones and recyclable into magnets indirectly through components when processed.
Note: Not all items with the word 'Magnet' or 'Magnetic' recycle into Magnets. These include Magnetic Accelerator and Magnetron, which themselves recycle into Magnetic Accelerator, but not into Magnets.
Magnets can also be obtained from specific scavenged items that recycle into them, making these items valuable to hold onto instead of selling or discarding.
Where to find Magnets?

The most reliable loot spots for Magnets — and items that recycle into them — include:
- Spaceport areas such as the Rocket Assembly and industrial hangars, which are tagged under “Exodus” loot and have higher chances of yielding uncommon materials including Magnets and recyclable magnet sources.
- Industrial, mechanical, and maintenance zones across all maps — these contain crates, lockers, and containers where uncommon components commonly spawn.
- Maintenance tunnels and Buried City underground sectors — known player-reported farming routes for magnet-relevant items.
Tips to get magnets easily
- Prioritize containers and crates marked for industrial/technological loot.
- Look for protective clothing or machine parts — these often recycle into Magnets or Magnet components.
- If you struggle to find Magnets in raids, consider farming items that recycle into them instead of searching only for the Magnet item itself.
